How one Coney Island business stayed open following Hurricane Sandy

Pharmacy owner Elan Katz rented a trailer to keep his business open for residents on Mermaid Avenue after Hurricane Sandy ransacked the seaside Brooklyn neighborhood. As one of the only pharmacies dispensing medication after the storm, Katz and his employees provided a lifeline to the community and continue to during the rebuilding process.
