"A good person." This has long been Bob Grant's answer to the question, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" Science journalism is the form this quest has most recently taken. In previous lives, he has sought good person-hood through serving as a wildlife biologist, a busker, an aquaculturist, a rickshaw driver, and a valet parker. He enjoys reading, writing, and riding his bicycle willy-nilly through the bustling streets of New York City and beyond. Though he inches towards goodness everyday, he shows no signs of actually growing up any time soon.
