As the Bush administration’s veritable war on science moves into its final year and we start selecting new leadership, many wonder what science policy will look like in a new administration.

The on-line version of Physics Today has taken the lead by creating a site which catalogs the candidates answers to many pivotal science questions.

The front-running Republican candidates tap-dance around the issue of evolution by affirming the process but giving God credit for creating the universe. And on the issue of climate change it seems there is wide agreement that it is a problem and that stricter regulation of carbon dioxide emissions is needed.
