Perri Thaler is most passionate about space, tech, and the physical sciences, but also profoundly curious about other scientific topics, including renewable energy and climate change. She’s particularly captivated by secondary problems that modern technologies inadvertently cause. She studied astronomy and economics at Cornell University before working in space policy and technology at NASA, and then researching paleomagnetism at Harvard University.
