E-cigarettes in New York City
Smokeless in the city

Smokers are looking for alternatives to conventional cigarettes, and many have turned to e-cigarettes. The Food and Drug Administration announced on Monday that they would regulate these smokeless alternatives. But are e-cigarettes really any better than their smokey predecessors?

On Monday, April 25, the Food and Drug Administration announced that it plans to regulate e-cigarettes, the smokeless alternative to traditional combustible cigarettes, like tobacco products rather than drug-delivery devices. The drug-delivery designation would require the FDA to carefully review e-cigarettes before they are sold, like nicotine gum and other smoking cessation devices. The stricter regulations for drug-delivery devices still could apply if e-cigarettes are specifically marketed to help users quit smoking.
The new designation logically applies to the nicotine in e-cigarette liquids, which is derived from tobacco. It’s unclear, however, whether the tobacco regulations will apply to e-cigarette liquids that are not derived from tobacco; flavored “zero-nic” liquids are also popular among e-cigarette users.
It is expected that New York state will not move forward with its ban on e-cigarette sales once the federal regulations are in place.

This video was great. NYC is nuts to ban these things indoors. Notice how the doctor can’t cite to anything that even suggests e-cigarettes could be dangerous to others?
New York is crazy. Breathing in this state will be illegal soon.

Heya i am for the first time here. I came across this board and I find It truly helpful & it helped me out a lot. I am hoping to present one thing again and help others like you aided me.
I think that e-cigarettes are here to stay. They are definitely better than normal cigarettes as they do not deposit tar and other toxic substances in your system. These are smokeless alternatives and have garnered a lot of support from across the world.
Whoa! This blog looks just like my old one! It’s on a entirely
different subject but it has pretty much the same page layout
and design. Superb choice of colors!
Hey there, I think your site might be having browser compatibility issues.
When I look at your blog site in Opera, it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer, it has
some overlapping. I just wanted to give you a quick heads up!
Other then that, awesome blog!
I think it’;s a bit exaggerated that they’re trying to ban electronic cigarettes in public places. I can understand why some non-smokers might be against people smoking them in restaurants or other dining places because of the specific smell (which is not necessarily bad, it’s just a smell), but they have to consider that it’s just vapor. how about banning people who smell like sweat in the middle of the summer just because they smell worse than electronic cigarettes?
Hi there, I enjoy reading through your article post. I like to write a little
comment to support you.
This are all about business. I doubt this alternative e-cigarettes are safe.
Much like yourself, I tried a cheaper electronic cigarette and wasn’t happy with the results, it actually broke a month after getting it. I have been using the Green Smoke electronic cigarette for over 6 months now and I am more then pleased. The two piece design makes it extremely easy to use, and gives you a new atomizer with each cartridge, which helps keep the flavor fresh! Speaking of flavors, Green Smoke offers Vanilla, Chocolate, Coffee, Strawberry, Menthol, and regular nicotine. They also give you the option of changing the nicotine levels, which is great if you are trying to quit, or just reduce your daily nicotine intake. Another great thing about Green Smoke is they are based out of the US, Florida actually, which means your order won’t take 2 weeks to get here from China, and get held up at Customs, which is what happens to a lot of other electronic cigarette orders. I’ve got nothing but positive things to say about Green Smoke, between me and my friends, we’ve tried nearly every e-cig on the market and this is by far the best value out there. When you’re ready to order, feel free to use this 10% off coupon I found!disc10-4004
