VIDEO: Night with the stars

Most people wouldn’t head to New York City to stargaze. However, Columbia University’s Astronomy Department is making this seemingly impossible activity a reality. Columbia Astronomy Outreach is encouraging people to take a moment and just look up. Despite the influence of light pollution, there is a great deal to be seen from a city rooftop, especially with the help of a telescope or two.
